Although we can each make a difference individually, N+N understands the power of community. We want to share and celebrate different organizations and individuals who share the same ideologies and missions as we do.

Tennessee River Keeper
Protecting and preserving the Tennessee and Cumberland River Basins
Tennessee Riverkeeper monitors polluters and their pollution permits, responds to citizen complaints, and utilizes other methods to further protect the Tennessee and Cumberland Rivers and their tributaries. When the organization discovers illegal pollution, it seeks enforcement of environmental laws.
Tennessee Riverkeeper’s mission is to protect the Tennessee and Cumberland Rivers and their tributaries by enforcing environmental laws and educating the public. The communities of the Cumberland and Tennessee Valleys are all interconnected neighbors upstream and downstream; all people, animals, and plants need clean water. Riverkeeper advocates for the watershed to ensure that future generations will inherit safe, clean water in their communities.
The Good Fill
The Good Fill is a “no-waste” company that provides sustainable alternatives to household items. A feel good brand that does the hard work so you don’t have to. Below is from their website, in their own words.
“The Good Fill exists to offer more sustainable alternatives to items we all use or dispose of on a regular basis. The store has some of my favorite low-waste essentials. The basics - no more, no less. We all need to eat, use a toothbrush, and we all need to clean our bodies, homes, and bathrooms but we don't need a million products to do so and we don't need toxic, plastic ones either!”
Patagonia
“It’s been nearly 50 years since we began our experiment in responsible business, and we are just getting started. If we have any hope of a thriving planet—much less a thriving business—50 years from now, it is going to take all of us doing what we can with the resources we have. This is another way we’ve found to do our part.
Despite its immensity, the Earth’s resources are not infinite, and it’s clear we’ve exceeded its limits. But it’s also resilient. We can save our planet if we commit to it.”

Koala Eco
“When we return to nature, we return to ourselves.
Since we started Koala Eco seven years ago, the business has become about so much more than making safe, powerful, plant-based products for a clean home, body and mind. It’s become a mission to find ways to bring more nature into everyone’s lives, every day.”

Compost Nashville
“Grow Food, Not Landfills”
“We collect surplus food and turn it into compost, creating a clean, more sustainable food future for all Middle Tennesseans.”
Compost Nashville has made it easy to dispose of daily waste in a sustainable and eco beneficial way. It is a reminder how some of our waste can actually be good for the environment. Composting food waste lowers methane emissions, creates nutrient dense soil and reduces landfill waste.
Blueland
“I was horrified to learn that all the plastic I was throwing away was contaminating our water supply and generating hundred of microplastics in the water and food I was feeding my baby. I wanted to do my part to help, but it was impossible to find household products that didn't come packaged in plastic. From there, Blueland was born.
Throughout the process, we've helped eliminate over 1 billion plastic cleaning bottles from entering out landfills and oceans.”
